My first look at the Pacific ocean.

There are ferns growing everywhere

The coastal mountain range provides many different elevations for great views, even along the coast.

The barnacles that grow on the rocks are nearly impossible to remove

Sea Life lives in the puddles between the rocks as the tide goes out

This is Denise, and Nate.  They were kind enough to let me stay with them.

This is me in front of a very large pine tree.  It has a trunk circumference of 53'  It is the largest of its kind in the US.

There is a large Rose Garden right in downtown Portland.

This was supposed to be a picture of a sign under a stop sign saying it is legal to make a right turn without stopping.  Instead I got a neat sunset picture.

None of my pics of Intel turned out since it was too dark outside the building, and cameras were not aloud inside.
